Log Insight has featured Event Forwarding since Log Insight 2.5. In Log Insight 3.0 a couple small, but important changes were made. Read on to learn more!
- The “contains” operator was changed to “matches” — for more information see this post.
- Event forwarding via syslog over UDP is now supported — Event forwarding via syslog over TCP has always been supported, but some syslog destination require the traffic be sent over UDP.
